In January of 2016 my father, Geoff, and I bought John's Trade Me Photography Accessories business from him.

We had been clients in the past, and it was an honour to have the opportunity to continue John's legacy going forward.

Sadly, John passed away in February 2016, and it is in his name that we continue to run his business. The Trade Me account will forever bear his name, and we continue to have past clients write to us "Dear John, …"

We have renamed the business GoPhoto, partly because that's what we want people to do (go out and photo[graph]), and also in a play on our names, Geoff and Ollie.
