An ideal lakeside outpost in the wilderness for tramping the Routeburn or one of the many other local hikes, enjoying the many activities in the area or simply relaxing. Accommodation includes shared dorm rooms, double rooms, family rooms, heritage rooms and more. Facilities include a fully equipped self-catering kitchen for guests to use, a TV lounge, communal dining area, courtyard with BBQ, and most importantly, a hot tub!

We have an on-site restaurant and during the warmer months we offer kayak trips. Lake Wakatipu is next to the lodge, surrounded by mountains, and we can boat guests across from Glenorchy if needed. We offer transport to/from the Routeburn and Greenstone/Caples tracks. Happy to help make the most of your vacation and all the many opportunities for adventure in the area.
