PAUA promotes an Individual Learning Programme for your child. Parents love the ever-changing supply of stimulating age-appropriate educational toys & puzzles that aid learning objectives. Plus, each month you receive Photographic Learning Stories - reports about your child's progress as seen by their Visiting Teacher. See website for examples. We also have playgroups, community outings, Christmas breakups and more!

PAUA offers free support and advice for Educators. Parents pay Educators directly - not via PAUA. As such, many of our Educators are Grandparents looking after their grandchildren.

Free 20Hours ECE and WINZ Subsidies are available for Children Over 3 years.

We operate under Scallywaggs Education & Care Services which has been parents' reliable partner in taking care of their kids 0-5 years and 5-14 years.

In-Home Childcare is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

At Piccolini Hastings, we believe that as an Early Education Centre we have an important part to play in our community and a very special opportunity to positively impact young childrens lives in their early stages of development.

With a safe and nurturing daycare environment for your child, we provide a place for children to learn, develop and grow through social interaction in an engaging environment, carefully set up by kaiako, with lots of opportunities to explore and learn.

Our Hastings kindergarten and childcare centre caters for tamariki aged 3 months  6 years and we are open 7.30am-5.30pm, Monday  Friday. Our purpose-built Hastings centre located on Southampton St, making us easy to find and within a short travelling distance to the local town, making us a natural choice for busy parents and local families in the community.
