The rest home offers high quality, full residential care, 24 hours a day, with a registered nurse on site at all times. Our nurses are backed up by a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists, podiatrists, dietitians, and other health professionals who visit Elmswood Retirement Village throughout the week. Respite and daycare are also available.

Elmswood has a reputation for great food, prepared on site by our chefs and kitchen staff. As well as delicious and nutritious meals, fresh home made baking is on the menu everyday. We also cater for a wide variety of dietary needs.

Activities and entertainment are offered throughout the week in the Rest Homes large main lounge. Intimate sitting areas are also scattered around the facility, giving residents a variety of places to read a book, have a chat and a coffee with friends or family, or simply take in the view of our beautiful gardens.

Our 25-bed hospital is suitable for people requiring hospital and palliative level care. We pride ourselves on our clinical care and commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest innovations in aged care. We are absolutely patient-focused and dedicated to looking after all aspects of a persons wellbeing. We want people to feel as good as possible about themselves and their treatment, while they are in hospital, and do our utmost to achieve this by paying attention to the big and small things in life. With rural views, the rest home offers a dementia facility providing specialised, secure care for those assessed with Stage 3 dementia. It is a brand new purpose-built facility that complements the existing rest home which has recently been fully refurbished to a very high standard.
